                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 718 AND
                   806 SOUTH SCENIC HIGHWAY, BEING ON THE
                   NORTHWEST LINE OF SOUTH SCENIC HIGHWAY AT
                   SHINGLE ROAD, FROM TEMPORARY R-1 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE TO R-1 RESIDENTIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
        
                A tract of land located at 718 and 806 South Scenic
                Highway, being on the northwest line of South
                Scenic Highway at Shingle Road.  Lot 1, Oldham's
                Resubdivision of Part of the P. D. Benham Lot, as
                shown by plat of record in plat book 29, page 65,
                ROHC, and lots 2-4, Amended Plat of Benham and
                Fraziers Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 11, page 43, ROHC; being the property
                described in City of Chattanooga Ordinance No.
                10228 with the addition of lot 2, said Amended Plat
                of Benham and Fraziers Subdivision (annexation
                ordinance to be amended to include said lot 2). 
                Tax Map No. 155P-H-12.1 and 167A-G-1.
               
         from Temporary R-1 Residential Zone to R-1 Residential Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
